Cooperation can be complex;
our job is to make it easier.

Small practices – experience sharing

EGTC Localism (PO5 CLLD etc) Small project funds

Let’s continue exploring ‘Small practices’.

As we already know, the main objective of small projects is to support people-to-people cooperation, increase participation and bring EU cohesion policy closer to citizens. Small projects serve different purposes in particular programmes. Programmes try to explore different paths how small projects can contribute to achievement of their objectives.

Following what we learned from the experts during the October’s webinar, we would like to continue discussing the topic and this time share interesting small practices.

The webinar’s main objective is to present how small works on the ground; hence we invited practitioners to present their experiences.

From supporting very small, tiny local initiatives, through small projects dedicated to improving the competitiveness of micro and small enterprises, promoting cooperation between SMEs, supporting development of larger initiatives such as a European capital of Culture small projects can support cooperation in various, innovative ways.

Interreg programmes explore the implementing models within the scope of Small Project Fund but also outside of it – CLLD, Territorial Action Plans just to name these two.

And there are some other practices that we came across during the research work for the Interact publication dedicated to small projects that we plan to release in early 2026 and want to present during the webinar.

Those of you who were with us in October might remember that Kai and Erik, the experts who presented the recommendations  will join us during the webinar as well.

The webinar will be the opportunity to share and discuss the current experiences but also to find small inspiration for the next programming period.
