Work Plan

Find out what Interact is planning for the year ahead!

Every December, Interact's plan for the year is adopted by its Monitoring Committee, who agree the priorities and details of a programme of work that is set out in detail (for the six months ahead) and in wider aspirations (for the full year). The Annual Work Plan is the basis of Interact's operations for the year ahead, with space still to respond to urgent and emerging needs.

Interact has identified three priorities for the year 2026:

  1. Supporting the implementation of current programmes (all strands)
  2. Preparation for Interreg Post 2027
  3. External cooperation and enlargement

The full Work Plan for 2026 features:

  • Almost 100 events, of which more than 50% shall be online
  • More than 40 Tools
  • 13 certified trainings as well as three more Certified Courses (three more to come online during the year)
  • Other activities to support exchange between programmes.

The topline information for the Work Plan 2026 is available to download and review. Please remember, the plan is subject to review and amendment without notice (except to our Monitoring Committee). You can also download an Excel version of the file.

About the work plan, our processes and the need for caution

Please note | This page presents the aspiration for the year ahead.

More detailed and accurate information is available throughout the website on the appropriate pages. Items planned are subject to delay or cancellation without notice, and all items are only reliable when they are published.

While the Work Plan is the basis of our work in the year, it is a complicated process to define and detail - in particular to respond to new developments and to integrate our plans with those of other organisations planning events that impact Interreg Programmes activities.
