P-BA How to…? Measure’s total cost estimation
Intro
Measures are the main building blocks of future Interreg chapters. They are at the centre of both intervention logic framework and programme finance management. A task of setting out the total estimated costs of the measures stems directly from the regulatory package proposal. Can it be done like current programme practice on costing priority axis, or with the change from priority axis to a measure the exercise should be approached in a different way?
Can current costing practices used for setting up SCOs and FNLCs become useful for the measure costing exercise?
With this webinar we would like to open discussion on estimation of costs of measures and their pay-out values. Understanding this aspect is the initial step toward further discussion on programme financial planning, including commitment and decommitment in the new concept based no more on costs reimbursement but on delivering the outputs.
Discussions on this theme will continue through various events throughout the year. We encourage participants who are interested and actively working on this topic to engage in this P-BA theme work. You may contact us directly to express your interest how you’d like to work with us, either through
a) Active participation - design, discuss and comment on models (not only during the dedicated events/workshop but also pre- and post-events work);
b) Participation in events only - contributing to discussions and comments during the events.
as much work remains ahead.
In this webinar
· We will recap the main messages coming from the regulations on the costing exercise.
· We will reflect on which current costing practices can be used for estimation of measure’s total cost
· Kick-start a discussion on possible approaches for the costing exercise that we’ll continue through the year during other events and sessions.
