Your first look at the Interreg Knowledge Fair 2025

The first details of the Interreg Knowledge Fair can now be shared with Interreg.
The date of the Fair was already confirmed in March 2025 as 4 and 5 November, but Interact is now able to confirm that the venue of the event will be the Sava Center, in Belgrade Serbia. Interact is looking forward to hosting such a signature event in the Western Balkans, especially given the increasing importance of cooperation between the EU, and with the candidate and neighbourhood countries.
The overall objective of the Fair will be to focus on how Interreg can respond to the new regulations (anticipated this summer), and to look at how we can optimise programme management, strengthen the advocacy of our achievements, and respond to fast-changing geo-political challenges.
Of course, this could change and/or evolve in response to the regulatory situation, and a consistent theme of the event will also be to identify best-practices and lessons learned in the 2021-2027 period, to make the best start to whatever may come in Post 2027.
In order to make the most of the Fair, Interact will be clearer about the target audience nearer the time, as well as providing a more detailed agenda. As it stands now, it is expected that content will be targeted at both programme leadership as well as experienced prorgamme officers. The idea is to get 'hands-on' with the draft regulations, as well as to look at programming processes, new political priorities and building stronger cooperation for the future.
In order to fit the range of topics above, it is anticipated that three people per programme would be able to attend the Interreg Knowledge Fair. Details of this will be confirmed alongside the finalised agenda.
