Risk-Based Management Verifications (RBMV) continue to play a crucial role in ensuring effective and proportionate financial management in Interreg. As programmes gather more experience and first audit results become available, this online event offers a timely opportunity to reflect on what has been learned so far and to consider how RBMV approaches can be further strengthened for the remainder of the period and beyond.

The event will allow to discuss current challenges, implications of recent audit findings, and the evolving expectations for RBMV towards the post-2027 period. Participants will also have the opportunity to raise questions directly to the European Commission and to jointly identify priorities for further improvement and support.

We warmly invite colleagues who have experience in updating or reviewing their RBMV methodologies - and those who have recently received audit feedback - to share their insights during the event. Your contributions will help foster a rich exchange of practical knowledge and support the continuous improvement of RBMV across the Interreg community.
