Interreg Knowledge Fair 2025
Following the publication of the draft legal package for 2021-2027, Interact will focus the planned Knowledge Fair 2025 on the topic of the MFF. With support from DG REGIO, this two-day event will focus on the future, including what’s known, what’s unsure and what’s not mentioned.
Topics to be covered include the start-up of programmes as well as roles and responsibilities in Post 2027. It will also explore the key changes proposed in July and elaborated in the Webinar on 12 September 2025.
Target audience
The topics for the event will concern the practical application of the proposed rules, as well as reflect on what’s missing. Experienced Interreg colleagues who are able to reflect on how the regulations will likely be applied in their programme will be best placed to participate in the Fair.
Objectives
The event shall:
- Build on the shared understanding of the draft proposals
- Bring experienced Interreg experts together to discuss the implementation of the proposals
- Explore some of the key changes, and how Interreg could adapt to them
- Enable wider exchange and networking between programmes
- Help Interact understand where further interventions can add more value for Interreg Post 2027
Note on the Agenda
At the moment, a draft agenda is available. An updated agenda will be published very shortly, which will contain session titles and some additional information on the content of the Fair beyond the information above.

The first phase of registration runs until 30 September. After that, additional spaces will be allocated by the organisers.
Please note, if you work for multiple programmes (i.e. you are from an MA Unit responsible for several programmes), please ensure you coordinate with your colleagues and use the correct Contract Profile for your registration to avoid exceeding the registration per programme outlined above. You can watch this short video explaination if you are not sure how to do this.
Applications from additional representatives may result in delays for all respondents.
Interact will assume that all applications are from duly designated people by the programme's authorities. We aim to make the registration process as quick as possible to enable you to book transport, but will likely process registrations once, on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday only.
