ICON 2026 part-two

Programme communication capacity Interreg promotion

Outline and objectives

The aim of ICON is to provide participants with:

  • updates regarding communication in Interreg,
  • to strengthen participants’ capacity and expertise in communication with training provided both by Interact communication experts as well as external trainers.
  • To offer Interreg communication officers the possibility to network and exchange with one another.

A dedicated event Communication for Capitalisation: Making Interreg results matter will take place back-to-back with ICON 2026 on 4 June 2026 (09:00–17:00). More information will be available soon. Stay tuned!

Target group

This workshop is addressed to programme representatives involved in communication within Interreg programmes.

To prepare for the event

Before joining the conference, we recommend completing our certified online course on Social Media communication. It introduces key terminology, explains how different platform features work, shares practical tools for creating better content, and covers topics like dealing with online trolls.

This way, we start the conference with a shared foundation and can use our time together to go deeper. You can find the training link here.
