2nd Interact V Programming Committee meeting
The 2nd Interact V Programming Committee meeting will take place on 28–29 April 2026 in Bratislava, Slovakia, hosted by Interact´s Managing Authority, Bratislava Region.
Over the two days, Programming Committee members will continue discussions on the preparation of Interact V in the context of the ongoing post-2027 regulatory debate. The agenda will cover the outline of the future Interreg plan, roles and responsibilities in drafting the new programme, and the possible extension of Interact V to new participating countries. The Committee will also revisit its Rules of Procedure.
The second day will focus on the strategic positioning of Interact V, including a SWOT analysis of its added value for the Interreg community in a changing regulatory environment and in light of emerging challenges such as artificial intelligence. The Committee will also discuss the future of the electronic monitoring system Jems, and receive an updated timeline for the programming process.
