New certified course on the Interact Academy: Facilitation for Interreg
11 August 26 3 min read
Facilitation is often associated with large workshops and high-stake events. It is just as useful for the meetings that fill an ordinary working day, and that is what this new certified course on the Interact Academy is about: applying facilitation skills in the Interreg context to design and deliver meetings that work.
The course takes five hours, is set at beginner level and is available in English. It addresses five problems that come up in most organisations: meetings that could have been an email, meetings that are wholly or partly irrelevant to the people in the room, meetings that cover too many topics and run too long, meetings with vague agendas, and meetings where people go off topic or leave without a clear outcome.
By the end, participants are able to explain what facilitation is and what the facilitator does, design a useful meeting, and deliver it. It applies to a team meeting as much as to a lead partner meeting, a Monitoring Committee, a meeting with external experts or a seminar.
The course is open to anyone in the Interreg community. To receive the certificate, participants complete all lessons and pass the knowledge verification quiz with at least 60% correct answers.
