South-West Europe Network, financial seminar

Harmonisation and simplification

Interact, in cooperation with the Spanish Ministry of Finance (Dirección General de Fondos Europeos, Ministerio de Hacienda), is organising the South West Europe Network Exchange meeting, focused on financial management in Interreg programmes.

This seminar aims to harmonise knowledge, share insights on key financial topics, exchange experiences, and improve understanding of financial implementation across programmes. Special focus will be placed on identifying areas for improvement and jointly reviewing, discussing, and refining financial implementation practices. Considering the recent publication of the draft regulations, the seminar will also provide an opportunity to discuss key post-2027 perspectives. Also, a specific session will address public procurement, focusing on preparations for the anticipated revision of the Public Procurement Directives. Exchanges will build on existing rules and current practices, ensuring a proportional and practical approach.

The target group includes staff of the different authorities of the South‑West Europe Interreg programmes: SUDOE, POCTEFA, POCTEP, EURO MED, NEXT MED, Atlantic Area, and MAC.

The detailed agenda will be published soon.
