P-BA & Interreg: some philosophical questions
Context
Preparing for a new programming period provides an opportunity for reflection on some of the bigger questions:
- What makes Interreg unique in the EU funding landscape?
- Besides territorial cooperation, are there other features that make Interreg distinctive?
- What is my programme’s niche? How can I make sure my programme adds value to other EU instruments?
These questions are particularly relevant with the proposed introduction of performance-based approaches.
This short webinar aims to assist programmes with their reflections by introducing two philosophies for running a programme: "delivery" vs "piloting".
Objectives
This webinar will provide a platform for an initial exchange on these two philosophies and others. The ultimate objective of webinar is to identify:
- Is it useful to think of these two philosophies when answering the question: what makes Interreg unique? What other philosophies should we also consider?
- Is one philosophy more prevalent among Interreg programmes than the other?
- Looking to the future, are both philosophies compatible with performance-based approaches?
Who is this webinar for?
Interreg programme practitioners involved in strategic preparations for post-2027.
