Network meeting of Interreg cross-border and transnational cooperation programmes in the BSR

The need for closer cooperation between programmes has been highlighted throughout the 2021-2027 programming process. The network in its meeting will continue discussing practical cross-programme coordination efforts in implementation of Interreg programmes 2021-2027. The proposed focus of the meeting is on updates on the start of the 2021-2027 programme implementation, reflections on the first calls, and practical cross-programme coordination ideas and challenges, including discussions on thematic concentration and coordination potentials offered by the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region with the focus on sustainable tourism. In addition, we will demonstrate the pilot project INDEX co-developed with three programmes: Interreg Baltic Sea Region, Interreg Central Baltic and Interreg South Baltic programmes. INDEX allows automated programme data exchange important to spot overlaps and build synergies between projects from an early application stage.
