Keeping Programmes on Track

Decommitment Management verifications

How did you manage to achieve your 2025 targets? What next...
From First Targets to Sustained Performance: Delivering Results in the Years Ahead

This webinar is the first  (15 April 2026) in a series of three Interact webinars in 2026 dedicated to strengthening programme performance and supporting the achievement of annual targets throughout the entire programming period, while reducing the risk of decommitment.

The session will focus on practical approaches to improving programme management and absorption capacity, helping programmes deliver results year by year until the successful closure of the period. Beyond spending efficiently, the discussion will also emphasise maintaining high project quality, compliance with rules, and sound risk management.

Designed primarily for Managing Authorities (MA) and Joint Secretariats (JS), the webinar will showcase three inspiring programme examples illustrating effective call management, support to applicants, and approaches to strengthening absorption capacity in border regions. The specific programmes will be confirmed closer to the event.

The webinar series will continue on 30 June 2026, focusing on controllers’ capacity, cost control, and cash-flow management, and in early October 2026, addressing end-of-year target achievement and last-minute performance improvements.

Participants will also have the opportunity to continue the exchange and brainstorming on programme performance during InterFIN in Tallinn in May, providing an additional platform to explore solutions and share experience.

The detailed agenda will be published in the coming days.
