Interreg OMR Network Meeting - Shaping the 2028-2034 Programming Period
The Interreg RUP Network Meeting brings together representatives of Interreg programmes involving the EU Outermost Regions to exchange on current implementation and, above all, preparation for the 2028-2034 programming period.
The meeting will provide space for peer exchange on programming progress, common challenges and emerging priorities, alongside discussions with DG REGIO on the future framework for the Outermost Regions. A dedicated exchange with DG INTPA is also foreseen to start laying the groundwork for the potential articulation between Interreg and Global Europe funding in the future period.
Objectives
The meeting aims to:
- exchange on current implementation and preparation of the 2028-2034 programmes;
- discuss common programming challenges, priorities and support needs;
- exchange with DG REGIO on orientations for the Outermost Regions;
- initiate discussions with DG INTPA on future Global Europe funding for Interreg RUP programmes;
- strengthen cooperation and exchange within the Interreg RUP network.
