Harmonisation and simplification

Interact contributes to the DG Competition’s public consultation on the draft General Block Exemption Regulation (GBER). Drawing on extensive input from Interreg programmes, our contribution highlights key issues affecting European Territorial Cooperation, with a focus on simplification, legal certainty and alignment with future Cohesion Policy objectives.

 Interact aims to ensure that State aid rules effectively support cross-border cooperation projects and remain fit for purpose in the 2028-2034 programming period, helping programmes deliver impact more efficiently across Europe.
