Plan Your Interreg Cooperation Day 2026 Event Now

What started in 2012 as a single shared day has grown into something far bigger than anyone imagined: more than 1,570 events organised, over 300,000 participants engaged, and a social media reach of 57 million. In 2025, programmes from all four Interreg strands took part and events were held across four continents. That did not happen by accident. It happened because programmes like yours chose to show up, year after year.
This year's theme is Stronger Together. The anniversary is the perfect moment to celebrate the long-standing partnerships that have made the campaign what it is, and to invite the people who have been part of it from the start.
Everything you need to organise your event
Interact has prepared a full set of tools to support your participation: the 2026 Guide and Factsheet, campaign visuals and thematic banners, a customisable promotional video, a joint Facebook boosting initiative that reached 10 million people in 2025, and visibility through the Interreg.eu portal. All materials are available now.
Events can be organised around 21 September and during the surrounding weeks from August to October. There is no fixed format: sports, cultural celebrations, nature events, creative workshops and family activities all count. What matters is that cooperation is made visible to the people who benefit from it most.
Start planning and get your event on the map.
