20 May 26 2 mins read

The Interreg Governance Facility project (InterregGov) has launched, and it has already opened its first call for programmes working with ISO1 (A better cooperation governance) with a particular focus on cross-border obstacles and people-to-people cooperation.

Twelve programmes will receive tailored support, and these will be selected by an open call. The assistance may include:

  • assessment of programme needs and stakeholder mapping;

  • support in identifying and addressing cross-border obstacles;

  • development of action plans and governance approaches;

  • preparation and design of future ISO1 projects and initiatives.

This call is open to the Managing Authorities of Interreg VI-A cross-border programmes (2021–2027) on internal borders. More information is provided in the Reference Guide of the Call for Applications of InterregGov Project.

The call for applications is open until 17 June 2026 23:59 CET, via the Application Form

InterregGov is a European Commission initiative implemented by the City of Vienna, which also hosts Interact Office Vienna and allows strong synergies between Interact and the project. InterregGov is designed to support Interreg cross-border cooperation (CBC) programmes, in implementing ISO1.
