Interreg Starter Package - Support for new staff in your programme

When new staff join an Interreg programme, they need time to become familiar with the Interreg environment, its terminology and its tools.
To speed up this transition, Interact has prepared a Starter Package. A curated selection of courses and resources that programmes can share with new colleagues to help them quickly find the most relevant learning opportunities and start building their knowledge of Interreg.
What's in the package?
The Starter Package guides new staff towards certified courses and resources designed specifically for the Interreg community:
Interreg for Beginners (certified course)
A first introduction to how Interreg works.

An overview of how Interreg programmes function and the main roles within programme structures.

What can you get from Keep.eu? (short course)
A public platform where you can find information about Interreg programmes, projects and partners – a database and historical archive of more than 20 years of Interreg.

Newcomers also need to understand the key tools that support Interreg programmes:
- HIT (Harmonised Implementation Tools) – Shared, simplified tools that enable programmes to use the same basic structure for managing their projects, including common application forms, checklists, reporting templates and budget structures.
- Jems (Joint Electronic Monitoring System) – A shared system used by Interreg programmes to manage the full life cycle of projects: launching calls, receiving and assessing applications, monitoring implementation, checking expenditure and processing payments.
- INDEX (Interreg Data Exchange) – A data exchange platform that allows programmes to share key information about project applications at an early stage, helping to identify synergies and prevent double financing.
