Interact has been selected as a member of the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform (ECESP) Coordination Group.
This is a great recognition of the important role of Interreg programmes and projects in Europe’s circular transition, and a major opportunity to raise the visibility of:
- the 37 Interreg programmes prioritising circular economy,
- 200+ ongoing projects,
- more than 1,200 partners working across borders on practical circular solutions.
Last week, Interact took part in the kick-off meeting in Brussels, where we connected with DG ENV, the EESC and fellow Coordination Group members.
Through the network, Interact aims to provide Interreg with more visibility, better connection to policy makers and provide more opportunities to showcase the impact of Interreg.
Through our role in the Coordination Group, we will bring forward project achievements, experts and programme insights — and make sure cooperation has a strong voice in Europe’s circular economy discussions.
Want to be involved?
We will soon reach out with opportunities for programmes and projects to contribute to ECESP activities.
If you’re already working on circular economy and want to connect: get in touch with Nicolas Garnier, and together, let’s show how cooperation drives Europe’s circular future.
