Call for tenders: a study on how Interreg helps regions prepare for emerging challenges
12 October 26 2 min read
Together with ESPON, we are looking for a team to carry out INTER-STAGE (Interreg Strengthening Territorial AGility for Emerging challenges). The maximum budget is EUR 350,000.
What the study is about
INTER-STAGE examines how Interreg helps regions prepare for future challenges and opportunities. It looks at Interreg cooperation not only as a funding instrument, but as a space where regions build partnerships and test new ideas, and where they engage early with emerging topics.
What the team will do
The team will measure whether themes that first appear in Interreg projects are later taken up through other regional programmes and wider territorial policy contexts. It will use this analysis to show how Interreg may contribute to long-term regional competitiveness and resilience, and to strategic agility.
Case studies will complement the analysis. They will give practical insight into how Interreg cooperation can support the move from experimentation to larger-scale regional action.
