Helena Järviste is the Head of Interact Office Viborg. She has almost 20 years' experience in EU funding and cooperation, from Cross-Border Cooperation in Interreg to the Estonian Police and Border Guard Board, which manages major EU-funded (HOME) projects.

In her Interreg experience, she was notably the head of the Interreg Estonia-Latvia Programme Joint Secretariat. She brings expertise on management, strategic planning, budgeting and reporting, as well fostering strong partnerships with member states and the European Commission. Helena has an academic background in history and social sciences and previously worked as a teacher.
