Maximising programme achievement and spending levels

Procedures Calls for proposals Programme evaluation and indicators

With only a few years left until the formal end of the programming period 2021-2027, Interreg programmes are approaching the critical stage of their implementation. Most of the resources are already committed and programme indicators are almost reached (or are close to be reached). Many projects are still under implementation, and some of them may generate savings that can be used for both enriching programme achievement or filling the gaps where indicators are still not met. Thus, at this stage of implementation, many programmes consider different activities to fully fulfil their potential.

Programmes may apply different solutions, depending on their individual characteristics; nevertheless, several joint limitations remain e.g. time, human resources, etc. Therefore, with this event we would like to jointly explore what can be done to maximise programme achievement, taking into consideration all those limitations.

During the workshop we will work towards a joint understanding how to make the most out of programmes and use their resources to the greatest possible extent. Together, we will try to identify existing and new solutions that programmes can use during the final stage of their implementation.
