Interact III contributed to efficient Interreg programme implementation by offering implementation tools and resources in line with EU regulations and guidance. This included activities such as online and in-person events and tools.
Interact held 945 events in the last period with over 25,000 participants in total. More than 400 tools were created included flagship projects such as the Harmonised Implementation Tools (HIT), the Joint Electronic Monitoring System (Jems) and the Capitalisation Management Toolkit.

With the closure of Interact III, the current programme (Interact IV) continues to implement its work to support Interreg programmes and wider cooperation actors. This work includes the future of Interreg (Post 2027), both in terms of consultations with programmes] as well as the wider regulatory discussions.
